Yukon First Nations Astronomy

Consulta Meta is compiling Yukon First Nations texts and studies, from across the Territory, to accurately identify, reanimate, and provide access to the various Astronomical legends, myths, stories that contributed to a unique and fascinating cultural fabric.

These stories were/are about happenings in the "long time ago" of myth time, when animals habitually not only acted, but looked like humans. Stories, ridding the world of evil monsters, the prime event in the ordering of the universe. And stories of the Crow cycle, and the creation of the world, or the special creation of the animals by Animal Mother.
